My first avatar

Post by ducaduca on Thu Jan 28, 2010 12:21 am

hey,

I have made roughly 6 sig's in my life but this is my first avatar ------------>
so I would like to hear your reviews and any points I could improve on, and I don't mind if you say its completely terrible and the food your animals eat looks better.

Well you see its kinda rough around the edges, this can be due to bad export quality when you are saving as a jpg i presume. And maby when you cut the char out it could have been done better, there is a gray edge around the char and it makes it look messy Smile

lol. Saving at png wont make much difference than saving as jpg. You can do better quality with jpg. But the jpg dosnt support the transperet function like png does.

Saving his avatar in png instead of jpg wont make any difference if the output qulity is the same.

ill have another dig at it now
here it is now ---------------------------------------------------------->
I went round the whole render rubbing out the grey pixel by pixel xD only took 3 minutes.
then I put the quality up to 10 ( not that it helps too much)

is this one ok?

P.S. Thanks for the help

? lol (sounds like we are swimming now:) ) I just selected the layer with the render on it then went around the edge using a plain white block rubber and erased all of the grey/white abnormal area's.

oh, no that black outline I think is the character itself. if you look on your maple you will see the black outlines on the characters. I think anyway

http://www.dragonica-gold.info/wallpapers/18.jpg
go there for a cool big image of lots of MS characters perfect for rendering.
